Planning & Costing Engineer

Support planning, project monitoring, costing and engineering documentation for multidisciplinary infrastructure assignments across highways, bridges, metro rail, railways, buildings, irrigation and urban infrastructure.

What you will do

  • Prepare DPRs, Inception Reports, MPRs, Method Statements, BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, client billing and RA bill verification.
  • Develop and update project schedules, baseline programmes, look-ahead plans, S-Curves and progress dashboards.
  • Carry out delay analysis and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Prepare contractual and engineering correspondence.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and design teams for collection and verification of project data.
  • Participate in progress review meetings.
  • Maintain project MIS, planning documentation and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with IRC, MoRTH, contract conditions and the company's Quality Management Systems.

What we are looking for

  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Experience in infrastructure consultancy, government projects or construction management, with exposure to Detailed Project Reports (DPR), Inception Reports, planning & scheduling, Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), client billing, RA bills, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, method statements, engineering documentation and project monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office (advanced Excel, Word & PowerPoint), MS Project, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plex Earth, Google Earth and IITPAVE.
  • Working knowledge of IRC, MoRTH and IS codes, scheduling, S-Curve analysis, delay analysis, resource planning, cash flow forecasting, Earned Value Management (EVM), engineering documentation and MIS reporting.
  • Strong analytical ability, planning and organizational skills, report writing, communication, coordination, problem-solving and attention to detail, working to strict timelines.

Good to have

  • Primavera P6 and Power BI.
  • Experience on highways, bridges, metro rail, railways, buildings, irrigation, PMC or Authority Engineer assignments.
