We have the infrastructure, expertise, technical instruments and resources to carry out all types of investigations, including geotechnical and topographical investigations, as part of pre-feasibility and DPR studies.
Topographic surveys
- 01 Reconnaissance survey for route selection, alternative alignments, abstract cost estimates and feasibility report
- 02 Preliminary engineering survey using conventional tacheometry, optimization of alignment, site verification and computer-aided mapping
- 03 Location survey using EDMs, total stations, computerized data processing, mapping and staking of alignment on ground
LiDAR surveys
NPEC provides LiDAR survey of roads for DPR and road asset inventory using world-class survey-grade mobile LiDAR systems. An in-house LiDAR data processing team is an advantage for projects needing quick turnaround.

We have a fully equipped Soil Mechanics Laboratory with the latest soil and field testing instruments:

Material testing laboratory
NPEC has a state-of-the-art Material Testing Laboratory for testing civil engineering materials, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. It is headed by a quality control engineer with vast experience, assisted by a pool of experienced technicians. Most equipment is computerized, eliminating the probability of human error in the testing process.
The laboratory is fully competent to undertake testing of various building and structural materials, including bituminous and non-bituminous materials and pavement-quality concrete.
