Authority Engineer's services

As Authority's Engineer:

1. 01 Review the EPC contractor's design and consultant drawings and grant approval based on the detailed engineering study and the requirements enumerated by the government authority in its tender document
2. 02 Review the contractor's quality assurance plan and approve the material source and the materials used in construction
3. 03 Review project progress and ensure timely completion

Independent Engineer services

As Independent Engineer:

1. 01 Review of the drawings and documents of the concessionaire
2. 02 Review, inspection and monitoring of construction works
3. 03 Review the monthly progress report furnished by the concessionaire and send comments to the Authority and the concessionaire
4. 04 Conducting tests on completion of construction and issuing completion / provisional certificates
5. 05 Review, inspection and monitoring of O&M
6. 06 Review, inspection and monitoring of divestment requirements
7. 07 Determining, as required under the agreement, the costs of any works or services and their reasonableness
8. 08 Determining, as required under the agreement, the period or any extension for performing any duty or obligation
9. 09 Assisting the parties in resolution of disputes and undertaking all other duties and functions in accordance with the agreement

Independent Quality Assurance (IQA)

Competence to provide IQA consultancy in the following fields:

1. 01 Construction of residential and commercial projects
2. 02 Construction of highways projects
3. 03 Construction of ROBs and flyovers
4. 04 Irrigation projects
5. 05 Industrial projects
6. 06 Environmental engineering

As an IQA consultant, the division offers:

1. 01 Advisory services to the client and supervisory staff on quality assurance and quality control during execution, and technical audit of the work during execution and on completion
2. 02 Ensuring the contractor executes the work per specifications and scope of work as per the contract, and verifying the field and laboratory tests performed by the contractor
3. 03 Conducting field and laboratory tests at site during execution and comparing with the contractor's test results
4. 04 Devising a system for quality assurance and quality control, strictly followed during execution, with the number and frequency of tests adhered to per relevant specifications, guidelines and quality control manuals
5. 05 Ensuring proper coordination between client and contractor so there is no conflict between the requirement of quality and the speed of work
6. 06 Verification of the contractor's running bills
7. 07 Prescription of quality control formats for various tests as per ISI specifications and quality control guidelines, regularly maintained for inspection
